Start Times for Events

The start and finish for all events will be at Fairplex on the LA County Fairgrounds. The Half Marathon course will run through Bonelli Regional Park around Puddingstone Lake. The 5k Run/Walk will run through Fairplex property. The Free Kids 1 Mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, December 11th and will also run through Fairplex property.

Race Packet Pick-Up

 

The LA County Half Marathon Health & Fitness Expo will be a two-day event held at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA.  All participants must attend the Expo to pick-up their bib, D-tag timing chip, and shirt.  Registration will also be open for all events at the Expo on Saturday, December 11th and Race Day, Sunday, December 12th.

The Expo is free to attend, however there are parking fees.  There will be a one time charge of $9.00 for General Parking at the Expo.  Please retain your parking ticket, as it will be valid for Race Day parking as well.

Please note: Each participant must attend the LA County Half Marathon Health & Fitness Expo with valid photo identification to pick-up their own race bib, D-tag, and shirt.  Friends and family of participants may pick-up packets on behalf of one participant only if they have a copy of the person’s photo ID and waiver SIGNED BY THE PARTICIPANT.

Pre-registered participants will receive their bib numbers via email prior to the Expo.  If a participant does not have a bib number prior to the Expo, it will be available to look up on the alpha lists.

Post-race review of the Inaugural LA County Half Marathon

The Inaugural LA County Half Marathon is now over and was considered by all in attendance as a HUGE success.  Mother Nature couldn't have been more generous to the runners, giving them blue skies, colorful autumn leaves, clean air, and views of the beautiful snow-capped LA Mountains.  The Half Marathon course that started and finished at Fairplex and traveled through La Verne, San Dimas, and Bonelli Park was given 2-thumbs-up by the multitude of runners that came up to us after the race.  Our congratulations go out to the winners of the Half Marathon, Carlos Handler (1:10:13) and Carly Harris (1:17:38) and to the winners of the Mt. Sac Heritage Hall 5K, Mark Moreno (15:33) and Alicia Jessop (18:14).  See complete results by going to "Race Results" under the "Race Information" tab above.  We would also like to thank and congratulate everyone that came out to support this inaugural event.  We look forward to being back in 2010!
